HACIENDA HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Concerned neighbors helped to catch a mother and daughter suspected of burglarizing a home in Hacienda Heights Saturday.

Authorities say the break-in happened at a home on Flamstead Drive Saturday morning.

Neighbors were able to get a good description of the two women, their car and a license plate number.

Deputies traced the suspects to their home in Pomona, where the two women were arrested.

Deputies say the victims’ jewelry and other stolen property were found inside the suspects’ car and home.
