NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Calling all 4-year-olds!

Universal pre-K begins Sept. 9 in New York City, but lots of parents still haven’t registered their children, 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria reported.

Deputy Mayor Richard Buery said it’s really easy to do.

“You can dial 311, you can text ‘Pre-K’ to 877-877,” Buery said, adding parents can also register online at nyc.gov/prek.
